Resources to get you through graduate school!

Resources will be updated as they become available to PAGSO.

Discord Link

We have moved to Discord as our primary workspace platform. Please use the link here to join. Be sure to view the welcome-and-navigation channel for information about the server and to assign yourself roles.

PAGSO's Map of Morgantown

PAGSO maintains an annotated map of Morgantown with notes on local points of interest. Information on housing, restaurants, local attractions, and more can be found here. Feel free to suggest additional places and comment on existing locations.

PAGSO Relocation Closet Application

PAGSO helps to maintain a relocation closet with a selection of essential home items (e.g. kitchenware, bedding, cleaning tools) to help students and post-docs who are relocating to Morgantown get started with their new homes. You can access the application form and request items here. If you would like to make a monetary donation or donate new or gently used items yourself, please contact physicsandastro (at) gmail.com.

Handbooks

To ensure you're looking at the most recent version of the handbook, check the department website here. Older handbook versions are archived below.

Prospective Student Booklets

Booklets created to help introduce prospective students to the department and the Morgantown area:

  • Spring 2022
  • Dissertation Templates

These materials were graciously provided by former students in the Department of Physics and Astronomy. Please feel free to use this as a template for your dissertation but, do not copy any part of their work!
