WVU PAGSO Outreach is here to help connect the community with science. Using the expertise of our graduate students and the resources of West Virginia University, our organization aims to increase scientific literacy and interest for people of all ages.
Want to plan a visit to your school?
PAGSO has many scientific demonstrations that we can bring to you! These range from electromagnetic can crushers and NASA heat shields to static electricity and balancing birds. No matter the grade level we can supplement your course with hands-on applications of science. We are also more than happy to assist at any extracurriculars or science fairs. Want to tour WVU Physics and Astronomy?
Come and tour our departments cutting edge research facilities! White Hall is home to current research into Plasma Physics, Condensed Matter, Astronomy, and Biophysics, which are open to public tours. Come see science in action, or stargaze with our rooftop optical telescope.
